Adenoids Treatments

Adenoids are a patch of tissue located at the back of the nasal cavity, near the opening of the Eustachian tubes. They are part of the body's immune system and play a role in fighting off infections, particularly in children. However, in some cases, the adenoids can become enlarged, leading to symptoms such as nasal congestion, difficulty breathing through the nose, snoring, and recurrent ear infections.

If these symptoms persist or significantly affect a person's quality of life, surgical removal of the adenoids, known as adenoidectomy, may be recommended.

Adenoidectomy is a common and safe procedure that aims to alleviate symptoms and improve breathing and overall health.
